Carleton Dunn is the recipient of this year’s Store Manager of the Year Award. This award recognizes a manager for outstanding store performance.
For fiscal year 2023, Carleton’s financial results were exceptional. He and his team grew an Inclusive Access program from zero to $400,000 in the first year of existence. Despite the growth in IA, Carleton was able to increase gross margin 1.32%. Most impressive were the bottom line results which were 2,000% over the prior year results and 709% over his budget.
Not only does Carleton run a very efficient and customer-centric stores at both the Weatherford and Wise County campuses, but he is also fondly known as the dashboard guru. The visual representation of data that he has created has had significant impact on the Retail Division. This time-saving tool allows us to not only track progress toward our goals but to also react more timely to possible issues. Carleton is also responsible for process automation and improvements involving everything from buying show purchase orders to inventory batches.
Carleton began work at TBC in 2011 as a shipper and receiver and worked his way up to the store manager role 7 years ago.
Carleton has been married to his wife Raquel for 21 years. They have a daughter Perla who is a sophomore at Weatherford College and Christian who is a senior in high school. In his spare time, Carleton enjoys gaming, gardening, hiking, tennis and pickleball.
