A 40th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AT CAMEX 2016
Greenville, Texas – March 2016
Texas Book Company was once again a powerhouse on the CAMEX floor at the Houston Texas event this year. TBC celebrated its 33rd consecutive year of participation as well as their 40th Year Company Anniversary! Months of planning, organizing, and strategizing all worked together to help make this year’s CAMEX a success.
Our theme was "Celebrating Texas Book Company's 40th Anniversary".
The CAMEX tradeshow lasted for two and one half days, and during that time CAMEX attendees got to revisit the Money Machine (launched in 2015) for a chance to grab cash and prizes as they whirled around in Texas Tornado fashion. Christy Clemons, National Sales Manager for Texas Book Company says, "It was a blast! Everyone simply loves to get into the Money Machine and it always draws a big crowd to the booth." Texas Book Company also had a daily free freight drawings.
As the TBC sales team greeted customers at the booth, the retail administrative team and bookstore managers made their way down the many aisles of vendors seeking out new products and promotions to help stock the bookstores to meet student’s needs. Darren Croom, Vice President Retail Division, stated, "It was a great opportunity to get a pulse on up & coming new products and allow us to positively impact our merchandise offering for the upcoming season."
CAMEX 2016 was held in Houston, Texas March 4-8, 2016.
